Knee Replacement Surgeon – Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre
Dr Daniel Meyerkort (MBBS, FRACS, FAOrthA) is an Orthopaedic Specialist Surgeon at Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre (POSM). Daniel is a graduate of the University of Western Australia (UWA), winning the Sir George Bedbrook Prize in Orthopaedics for the highest annual score in 2005. He trained locally in the Western Australian scheme and undertook subspeciality fellowships in London (Fortius Clinic – Elite athletes / Premier League, British Olympics etc), Sydney and Canberra (joint replacement). He is an advocate for optimising your physical health before surgery and evidence based best practices in knee replacement surgery.
Daniel undertook training in robotic surgery and virtual gap balancing in Seattle, Phoenix, Canberra, Auckland and London in order to offer these techniques to his patients. He is certified on the MAKO & ROSA surgical robots.

Daniel consults at the Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre and operates at Hollywood hospital and SJOG Subiaco. In addition he treats complex trauma at the State Trauma Hospital, Royal Perth.

He is trained in and has performed knee replacements with both the ROSA and MAKO surgical robots allowing him to offer a bespoke solution to maximise the function and pain relief for your knee.
